This facility investigates allegations of neglect or abuse in the home.
The main goal is to work with the families by providing education, counseling,
etc. When necessary, the children are removed from the home and placed
in foster care or if parental rights are terminated, the children may be
placed for adoption.

for families at risk.

This agency provides therapeutic foster care services, adoption, parent
education as well as supervised visitation services for biological parents
and families when applicable.

This facility is for children with severe emotional or behavioral problems.
It offers a comprehensive, multi-disciplinary diagnostic program. Children
are referred and those who are brought in are admitted for a 45 day individual
diagnostic process. Eleven children at a time may attend school in the
programs classroom and receive short term counseling and therapy while
having contact with their families.
The diagnostic acute care program deals with children 8-18 who have
social and emotional issues or are developmentally delayed including those
with dysfunctional behavior patterns or mild neurological impairment or
needing 24 hour supervision. The 45 bed center offers residential treatment
for children 8-18.

The family planning program delivers services with fees based on the
sliding fee scale. Medicaid is accepted. Morning, afternoon and evening
appointments are available. All services are confidential. The services
available for women include breast exams, pelvic exams, pap smears, pregnancy
testing and counseling as well as menopausal counseling. Services provided
for both men and women include colon cancer screenings, urinalysis and
hematocrit, blood pressure screenings, nutrition counseling, referral services,
contraceptive supplies (6 months supply), STD testing and treatment, infertility
counseling and referral and HIV testing and counseling. Offers Maternal
and child health services. Home health services, assessments and education
as needed for the mother and the child.

Assists families and communities by providing home health services
which promote/assist healthy lifestyles through assessment, education,
health promotion and prevention. They serve as school nurses, case managers
for Tuberculosis patients, elderly patients, prenatal patients, and postpartum
patients and their children.

A whole gamut of services for children at risk are provided through
this agency. Therapeutic foster care and group homes, one on one case management
as well as rehabilitation workers. Treatment plans are derived from a team
process which work towards the development of therapeutic goals and implementation
of strategic methods of goal completion. Family specialists for things
such as anger management, behavioral issues, parenting skills, independent
living skills as well as social skills are available. This facility also
