This year, in addition to the ever-popular Union River Days (photos of which appear on this site) the Friends, in cooperation with Wal-Mart of Ellsworth, Maine Coast Memorial Hospital, Bangor Daily News, and WABI-TV, Channel 5, are featuring Summer in the Park - a series of free concerts!
Local non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation and promotion of Ellsworth's beautiful waterfront, the Union River.
July 9th - Bobbi Lane & her Folk, Blues and Original Compositions
July 16th - Ain't Misbehavin' shaking us up with Jazz and Swing Tunes
July 23rd - Green Mountain Railway presenting their Old Timey Bluegrass sounds
July 30th - The Kelly Reece Band singing Traditional Country
August 6th - The Long Lost Band with Celtic, Folk & Bluegrass interpretations
August 13th - Bird House gets us moving with Jazz & Funk
August 20th - The Reach and their Alternative Rock sound
August 27th - Magnetic Mary and the King Snakes bring down the season & the house with a day full of Blues
